Easter Activities For Kids!
Happy Easter!
As we move into the Easter weekend, we know that this year is a little harder to keep your little ones busy since we all have to 'stay home'. So, Mizzie and her team have search and found some great ways for you to keep your little one entertained, learning and believing in the Easter magic! Here's a few good ones:
Yoghurt Pot Easter Baskets by Craft Train
These Easter Baskets are the cutest little baskets to have your little ones go Easter Egg hunting or top pop their Easter treats in! Make sure to post on Instagram your creations and tag Mizzie so we can see!
What You Will Need:
- Small Yoghurt Tub
- Washi Tape/ Coloured Markers/ Paint
- Coloured Beads
- Pipe Cleaners
- Tissue Paper
- Hole Punch
Steps To Make It:
1. Clean yoghurt tub and remove labels
2. Add coloured washi tape, or decorate tub with pens/paint
3. Punch holes inside of yoghurt tub.
4. Thread beads onto the middle of pipe cleaner, and tie each end through tub holes.
5. Cut a small square of tissue paper, place into the bottom of the tub.
7. Fill with eggs on Easter morning!
Easter Egg Toss Game by GH
This game is perfect to start helping your little one with hand-eye coordination and teamwork!
What You Will Need:
- One Babe of Water Balloons
- Water
- Glitter
How To Play:
1. Fill water balloons with glitter and a small amount of water.
2. Have your family and little ones stand in a circle or in pairs and gently toss the eggs between the players.
3. Every catch is a point (this could lead to a prize of your choice), every drop is another egg to make the game harder.
4. Play until all eggs are burst, the player with the most points wins the prize!
Don't just leave chocolate on Easter morning, help your little one feel that seasonal magic with PROOFÂ that the Easter Bunny visited with pawprints all over the house!
What You'll Need:
- Baking Soda/ Flour
- GlitterÂ
- Sponge
Steps To Make It:
1. Mix Baking Soda or Flour with Glitter, and pour into a large bowl.
2. Wet sponge until damp, and gently press flour mixture into the floor with one large circle and three little circles (toes).
Place these prints leading from the front door to the place where the Easter eggs are hidden and watch your little ones face filled with wonder when they wake up!
